Sri.C. DIVAKARAN represents Karunagapally Legislative Assembly Constituency in Kollam District. Elected to Kerala Legislative Assembly in 2006. Assumed Office of the Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Animal Husbandry.
He entered politics through student movements and held several positions and thereafter became secretary AIYF, Trivandrum Dristrict. He also served as a leader of a number of trade Unions and as All India Vice-Preisident of AITUC.
